Epson describes the LQ-2090IIN as offering an ultra speed draft speed of 550 characters per second at 10 characters per inch, suited to high-volume runs such as stock reports, invoices and freight documents. Epson states it improves the mean time between failure by 25% to 25,000 power-on hours. It uses the same ribbons as existing Epson models. It adds a serial port and a network card that supports IPv6.
